Irion Sheriff can address the arrest and initial custody path, while Tom Green may hold the physical booking and release entry. Court clerks keep judgments and bond orders. Court records come from the proper clerk. The Irion County/District Clerk can be reached at 325-835-2421. Posted hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Justice of the Peace is at 209 N. Park View, Mertzon, with phone 325-835-4141. Its posted hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 12:30 to 1:00 closure, and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
